The Michigan Gravel Race Series is a points series composed of 16 uniquely different gravel centric events. Riders may choose to challenge themselves in the following series:

MINI COURSE SERIES
SHORT COURSE SERIES
 LONG COURSE SERIES
ULTRA COURSE SERIES
All race categories have an Open and Women division. Mini, Short and Long Course distances have the following special categories in addition to expanded age categories: Fat Bike, Tandem, Single Speed, Clydesdale and Athena. In addition to Open and Women the Ultra Course has Clydesdale and Athena categories.

Clydesdale riders need to weigh 220 pounds or more.

Athena riders need to weigh 165 pounds or more.

Clydesdale and Athena Categories are just an option, not a predesignated category for all riders meeting requirements.

Racers registered for the series will accumulate points at events throughout the season.

At the conclusion of the series finale, the top riders in each Open/Women category, and who have also completed at least 4 events in the series (2 for ULTRA), will be awarded one-of-a-kind trophies and swag. To compete for the coveted gravel trophies and overall podiums a rider must be registered in an Open/Women category. Riders outside the top overall places will be eligible for age-group medals which will be awarded to the top 3 in each age group. The top riders in the sub-categories (singlespeed, fatbike or tandem), and who have completed at least 4 events, will be awarded one-of-a-kind medals and swag.

Riders must sign up for individual races with the identical first and last name used in MGRS registration to be scored.

FOR THE FIRST 3 RACES RIDERS CAN SIGN UP THE SAME DAY AS THE RACE.

AFTER THE FIRST 3 RACES:

RIDERS MUST MUST REGISTER for the series by midnight the night BEFORE the race for your score to count in the season standings.
